If Everyone Truly Understood

From my reading today...

Ephesians 2:8,9
(AMP) Amplified Version

For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;

Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]
Ephesians 2:8,9 Amplified Version

If everyone truly understood what the passage above means they would want it!

Who doesn't want favor from the God of the universe?!

Who doesn't want to be delivered form judgment... no matter what you have ever done in your life, you can be free of judgment, you can be saved by Jesus!

Being saved by Jesus isn't just a cliche "Christian-ese" phrase. Jesus can actually SAVE YOU!

Best of all we as humans don't have to work ourselves sick trying to earn this saving. God gives this to us as a FREE GIFT!

Yes it's right and good to not steal or kill or lie... but, no matter how many commandments or laws you break, the offer of salvation is always there for you. God loves you so much, he created you to be in a relationship with Him, he sent his Son Jesus to Earth to live amongst his people and die a brutal death to pay for all the sins that we as a human race had already or were going to commit in the future. Jesus already paid the price. Jesus did everything for you and I, he can clean your slate, make you whole again, blameless...

DON'T YOU WANT TO KNOW AND HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS PERSON?

Maybe Read it again...

For it is by FREE GRACE (God's unmerited favor) that you are SAVED (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the GIFT OF GOD;

Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]

also read this...

John 3:16
Amplified Bible (AMP)

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world (that means me and you!) that He gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

... Like I said, If everyone truly understood what these passages above mean they would want it!

Blessings,

Taylor Marie
